CTO Craft Con: London 2025 wrapped up just a couple of weeks ago (10–11 March), bringing together a vibrant, international community of technology leaders for two packed days of insights, connection, and inspiration at the QEII Centre. From scaling teams to shaping culture, the event tackled the real-world challenges tech leaders face every day.
We kicked things off with a standout keynote from Erica Stanley (Google), who encouraged CTOs to look beyond code and consider their broader impact. Her message? Lead with intention, stay ethical, and design for a sustainable future.
Across both days, sessions delivered a mix of strategy, storytelling, and actionable takeaways.
Here’s just a few of the highlights:
- The Culture & Leadership Panel brought together leaders from Rest Less, Domestic & General, FundamentalVR, and carwow to share honest, practical advice on leading through growth, change, and uncertainty.
- Pat Kua (Tech Lead Academy) broke down the many shapes a CTO role can take – reminding us there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to leadership.
- A thought-provoking panel on balancing innovation and operations, featuring voices from Experian, Hargreaves Lansdown, and Central Co-op, offered insights into leading with both agility and stability.
But it wasn’t all keynotes and panels.

A sunset Thames River Cruise with Softwire created the perfect backdrop for relaxed, scenic networking. The exclusive Gitpod 5-Star Dinner brought deeper, thoughtful conversations to the table. And the CircleCI After-Party at Lane7? A night of bowling, games, and friendly competition that reminded us leadership isn’t just about meetings – it’s about community.
With attendees from 20+ countries, this year’s event truly had a global feel. The top reasons people joined us? Networking (87%) and learning (49%) – and we’re proud to say CTO Craft delivered on both.
As we look ahead to upcoming events in Toronto, Berlin, and a new Finance Edition in London, our mission stays the same: to support and connect the people building the future of tech.
“We’re thrilled by the impact of this year’s event. Watching this community grow and thrive is what it’s all about.”
– Andy Skipper, Founder and Chief Coach at CTO Craft
